Classic chess is a strategic two-player board game played on an 8×8 grid consisting of 64 squares. Each player begins with 16 pieces: a king, a queen, two knights, two rooks, two bishops, and eight pawns. The objective is to checkmate the opponent’s king, placing it under threat of capture with no escape. The game can be enjoyed solo against artificial intelligence or played locally with a second player on the same device. Additionally, the game includes features to help solve chess puzzles.
